Welcome to 2019

Happy New Year from HIVE! Here's what we got going on so far.

1. PATREON

Since we launched our PATREON page, we have released some really great behind the scenes footage, solo music videos, tutorials, and advanced access to developing HIVE materials. 2. NEW MUSIC & VIDEO

Our latest LIVE video for Sylvan Esso's Slack Jaw from our November retreat is up an running, BUT we also recorded a BRAND NEW SINGLE AND MUSIC VIDEO that will be released oh so very soon. It features the arranging of Lisa Forkish, the unexpected choreography of Nina Kasuya, the kicks and punches of Christina Wilson, the mouth beats and soft feets of Courtney Jensen, and the incredible editing skills and laughter of Moorea Dickason.

3. PERFORMANCES

We have 3 performances lined up for 2019, and what a way to start things off...

We completely SOLD OUT of our debut house concert show. We are completely blown away. The response was so great, we added a SECOND SHOW! Holy cannoli! Now, y'all have a chance of catching us at Rose Avenue Acoustic Delights in Oakland on Saturday, January 12!

We will also be making our midwest dreams come true by headlining the 2019 Milwaukappella Festival on January 19th . Attendees will experience instruction by members of HIVE detailing solo singing techniques, ensemble singing and movement, as well as a full set in it's a cappella, electronic, and vulnerable glory.

Rounding out the first three months of 2019, is a very special performance at a very special festival in Berkeley, CA. Running from March 15-17, WeSing is the new name of an old friend (SheSings), and many of the members of HIVE have been there since the very beginning all the way up in Eugene, OR. This year's festival will be a lil different than in the past, but if the final showcase of last year's show was any indicator... be prepared to be dancing... a lot!
