Soundtrack To The Gym

In HIVE we focus as a group on self-care -- we support each other in making healthy decisions in our own lives so we can be present for each other and the music, to be the most bad-ass we could possibly be. As Shonda Rhimes puts it, we're gladiators!

Myself, I go to the gym most mornings and my big beautiful dog, Kadin needs lots of exercise so we're on a walks or runs together most days. (Look at those eyes!!! How could I resist!?!)

When I'm working out I love to listen to music and ever since I was a kid I've been a fan of making playlists. They used to come in the form of mix tapes but now they're digital playlists on my phone.

I usually start creating a playlist with a theme and a small collection of tunes that work together, over time I'll add more songs to it, then I'll listen to it into the ground until I need a break which is when I start the process all over again and start creating a new playlist. So... I have A TON of playlists.
